Radio Starlight End User License Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

   By downloading and using Radio Starlight from the official website, you agree to comply with and be bound by this End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Scope of License

   The license granted to the end-user for Radio Starlight is limited to a non-transferable license to use Radio Starlight on any macOS devices that you own or control. This license does not allow Radio Starlight to be used on any device that you do not own or control.

3. Description of Service

   Radio Starlight offers a personalized radio experience, curating content from various sources based on user preferences and location.

4. Licensing of Third-Party Content
   • Apple Music: Radio Starlight is not responsible for the licensing of music accessed through Apple Music. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate licenses or permissions to access and play music via Apple Music.
   • OpenAI API: Radio Starlight uses the OpenAI API to generate radio program content. The content generated does not represent the views or opinions of OpenAI, and Radio Starlight does not claim ownership or control over the generated content.
   • Feedly Search: Radio Starlight uses Feedly search to curate news feeds. The application does not claim ownership or control over content accessed via Feedly search. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate licenses or permissions to access and use content from Feedly search.
   • News Feeds and other API-based content: Radio Starlight sources content from various APIs. The application does not claim any ownership or control over this content. Users are responsible for ensuring they are not infringing on any copyrights or licenses when accessing and using these feeds.
   • Weather Integration: Users are responsible for adhering to the respective service's terms of use or any other licensing agreements when accessing weather data through Radio Starlight.
5. User Permissions and Responsibilities
   • Apple Music: Users grant Radio Starlight access to their Apple Music.
   • Location: Users grant Radio Starlight access to their device's location.
   • Users are responsible for selecting their music playlist, choosing their preferred news feed, and ensuring they have the necessary system settings for voice synthesis.
6. Maintenance and Support

   Radio Starlight is responsible for providing any maintenance and support services concerning the app, as specified in this EULA, or as required under applicable law.

7. Limitations

   Radio Starlight is not liable for any damages, claims, or issues resulting from the content accessed from various integrated sources.

8. Privacy

   Your privacy is paramount. All data, including location and music preferences, are used solely for the purpose of enhancing your radio experience. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

9. Termination

   The license is effective until terminated by you or Radio Starlight. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice from Radio Starlight if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this EULA.

10. No Warranty

    You expressly acknowledge and agree that the use of Radio Starlight is at your sole risk. The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind.
