Radio Starlight

  • Custom Program (Pro). Segment-first design with per-segment prompts and reusable templates.
  • More model choices. Use cloud APIs or Apple on-device (Foundation Models & Image Playground).
  • Bring your own sources. Mix Feeds (RSS/Atom/JSON), APIs, and webpages.
  • Optional open publishing. Export portable catalogs via the open Starlight Catalog Service; Basic one-click shows still available.

v3.9.0

  • Download. Grab the final v3 build directly from dist.radio-starlight.com.
  • Series finale. Closes out the Radio Starlight v3 line ahead of the App Store launch of v4.
  • Compatibility reset. The forthcoming v4 release will not import data created before v3.
  • Rollout roadmap. v4 is planned to debut on iOS first, followed by the macOS edition.
  • Note. This version does not support macOS 26 (Tahoe).

  • API key registration. Resolved an issue that blocked the newest OpenAI key formats from being saved.
  • New OpenAI model support. Added compatibility with GPT-4o and GPT-4o-mini for richer, faster shows.
